Procrastination.

Here I am again, doing literally anything other than acknowledging my responsibilities and completing tasks... I'll get them done at some point, just not now.

I spent today taking up a little more cyberspace. I set up new a website on nanos jp, and I'm gonna try and finish it soon. I've been wanting to move websites for a while now. Currently my main website is strawpage (https://polkadothell.straw.page/) but soon, it'll be secondary. It barely works anymore lol. There's some bugs and I'm pretty sure the owner abandoned the website since it clearly needs maintenance.

Aside from my nanos site, I also created a zenryaku profile (https://zprofile.jp/profile/suparabbit/), and an mblg, which is a Japanese blogging site similar to the old yaplog/yablog website. 

Aside from me taking up cyberspace, I officially deleted my tiktok account today, and honestly, I should've never went back to that horrid platform >:( It is a huge energy drainer and it gets addictive. The people on there are so miserable, non-empathetic, and generally unhappy. Bullying is so normalized and extremely sensitive/important subjects are made into jokes and memes. Tiktok as a platform is so awful. I only ever went back there to interact with my friends, post some content here and there, find more oldschool decora enthusiasts, and to see what Maritei and Tefy are up to nowadays.

Speaking of Tefy, found some more of her old stuff! I looked at her old yaplog and zenryaku profile on Internet Archive as inspiration for mine, and I also found a video of hers from 2009. I did have to use a vpn to watch it due to it being blocked in America (Sony Japan copyright issues). I'm so jealous of her old An Cafe merchandise... And shes so adorable as always!

This is her "How Nyappy Are You?" contest entry video! It was a Cafekko fan contest and it ended over 17 years ago. 

I also ordered a new laptop recently! I've been wanting a personal computer for so long... Its a dell laptop from 2008.

     Isn't she a beauty? I'm naming her Mimi ~

I can't wait to decorate her and dual boot windows 7 and linux mint on her! The customization options are gonna be so endless... I'll spend hours making her pretty lol. 

Other than that, I'm gonna be home alone for the whole week and I'm gonna get paid soon!!! Overall, today was pretty okay. I'm gonna try and force myself to get my tasks done now XP

I actually felt pretty good today. Better than usual!

Yesterday was eh... Blogging was the only redeeming part of yesterday actually. I needed to do some self care and I needed to complete my priorities, as well as prepare for classes again. But, I ended up procrastinating per usual up until the end of the day. Out of nowhere, I just got on what I needed to do. I had this random motivation boost. That was probably due to the coffee I had earlier haha. I completed some of my priorities, had a nice shower (which definitely helped with my mood today lol) and prepared myself for the next day. 

After starting my morning and chores, I started working on my nails, which were in a desperate need for a manicure. I got them prepped for color but I haven't painted them yet. I've got to work on not trimming too much skin/cuticle... I had to cut my manicure short since I had to get ready for my class.

I dressed up and did my make for the day. Classes went well but I almost fell asleep in one of them lol. Did a bit of notetaking after class, submitted needed assignments and decided to call it a day. After I took a much needed power nap, I went to the store and got some snacks! that one of my favorite parts of today... I love satisfying my "sugar demon," as my mom calls it XD

After acquiring my snacks, I went outside, listened to some music, and spent time with my beloved cat. I try to make the most of it when I go outside, and sometimes I do, but because I live in the inner city of Los Angeles, I find it hard to enjoy when I'm outside. One of the days when I do admire being outside was today. I looked at the trees, played around a bit with my siblings, and again, spent time with my beloved cat, Bastet. I also took some pics of my urban looking neighborhood :P

  I went inside after a good 40 minutes, and then ended the day. 

I'm gonna eat some dinner and get ready 4 bed soon... I'm also gonna upload some pics on my fotolog or flickr and paint my nails. And I'll also complete homework and probably practice for my piano lessons (which I hate) tomorrow. I'm going to try and get a full 8 hours of sleep or more tonight. I'm mostly running off of 4 hours lately. 

I need to work on my sleep schedule...

First blog!

Currently working on my blog at the time I'm writing this (1 ~ 12 ~ 7:31 pm). There's still a lot more I want to add to it and its also VERY unfinished, so bear with me. I hope to be done with this by at least the end of this week, but I won't be done at that time most likely... Coding is such a pain in the ass, but the results are always worth it. Anyways, on to my introduction. 

My name is Isis and I'm a 17 (almost 18) year old girl who's trying to find her place in this world, and enjoy life as best as she can. I go by "suparabbit" online, inspired by one of my favorite An Cafe songs, "Super rabbit." I got inspired to start blogging a while ago, but I never ended up making one up until now. I like lots of things, but i don't feel like typing out all of my interests right now xP... I'll make an "about me" blog soon.

One of my goals is to leave this world knowing i made the most of my life, and that I had fun and did the things I wanted to do. This blog is one of the ways I am doing so!

What else... Oh, I hope to blog here at least one time a week. I can't wait to look back on what I've written here. Aaand... I think that's pretty much it.
