Just finished working on my website, for now. I decided to finally work on my "about me" and "gimmicks" sections on my strawpage ^^  I still need to work on it and I would like to add more to it, but for now, I think it looks alright!

Other than that, I've mostly been cleaning all week. It's been exhausting... My spring break is going alright so far, even though most of it has been spring cleaning xD I scanned some pages of my copy of Japanese Schoolgirl Inferno, and uploaded them. Today, I focused on the oshare/decora pages, but there's also pages on gal, lolita, sukeban, and more! I also wanna scan some pages of my Japanese Schoolgirl Confidential book as well!

Had a small little outing yesterday. Went to the orthodontist and ate some food from a place I haven't had in a while... I spent like 4 hours waiting while at the dentist since the place was short-staffed and closing soon. The receptionist also had an attitude for some odd reason :P Oh well. After almost 5 hours, I finally got my usual checkup and cleaning. I had one small cavity. I think I need to stop eating so many sweets...

After the dentist visit,  my family and I took a ride around Koreatown, and then to Culver City, where my mom surprised us with lunch from one of our favorite restaurants we hadn't eaten at in a while. We still had 30 minutes until we got home. I listened to music per-usual during the ride. I also took a few pictures of the city on my digicam. 

As soon as I got home, I devoured the food lol. It was so delicious. I had a huge burrito with rice, beans, and tortilla chips ^^ I'm getting hungry again...

I have NOT been sticking to blogging once a week lmao. Life seems to always get busy for me, one way or another... So double entries today (^ヮ^)

Today, I had to handle some job stuff. I went to an orientation for it and it was nerve-wracking. I was anxious the whole time and super shaky, but I got it done, and learned some important/valuable information. This was also an opportunity for me to start practicing signing my signature on important documents. Though, mine was sloppy compared to everyone else (adults) in the orientation... I'll get there soon. I think I was the only teenager there, actually. Most of the people there were middle aged or like mid 30s... I was so intimidated at first. The whole thing itself ended up being not as complicated as I thought it would be. Growing up is so scary... I switched off my mature/professional demeanor as soon as I got out of there haha.

Other than job stuff, I got tickets for the Michael biopic in April!!! I am very excited!!! This movie will probably be the closest thing I will ever get to feeling Michael's presence and magic. I was born a year before he died, so I never got the chance to experience Michael-mania, his peak, his concerts, even just living in the same era as him. I was too busy being non-existent... I've listened to his music all my life, but I became a full blown fan (Solider Of Love/"Moonwalker") when I was eight. Ever since then, I've been dedicated, so when the news of the biopic releasing came out in 2024, I've just been waiting. The film was actually announced in 2022, and I've been following the project since 2023, if I recall correctly. Delay after delay, after delay, it's actually happening. I honestly still haven't processed everything fully. The teasers, trailer, movie merchandise, Jaafar Jackson practically morphing into his uncle (its scary how much they're alike), hasn't hit me just yet lol.

I'm gonna semi-cosplay him from Thriller era. I'm gonna wear the outfit he wore at the beginning of the Beat It music video, the piano shirt and red jeans combo. Even though he wore this outfit briefly, Its such a cool outfit! Underrated look honestly.

MJ stuff aside, school has been overwhelming, per usual... But, especially now since its spring break after today (Friday). Idk why but it seems like schools love bombarding their students with tons of work and big projects right before they go on break for some reason. I've gotten 99% of my work done. I still have one more assignment to do but I'm probably gonna wait until after spring break to finish it. This assignment in particular is super difficult and its taking me forever to finish (╥﹏╥) It's for my cosmetology class, specifically haircutting... I'm never becoming a hairstylist lol. 

That's about it generally :p life is getting better, and more fun :)

Harajuku Day !

Last Saturday, I finally went to Harajuku Day in Little Tokyo, and met up with my friend Ami!! ^0^ I also ended up going with my sister too since she asked to come with me (ᵕ—ᴗ—) My sister and I got there early since we live a few minutes away from Little Tokyo/the Downtown LA area, and we were there for about 2 hours. We mostly walked around at first since I am still getting over my shyness xd but after a while, I started shopping. My shyness is also the reason why I didn't take pics of the mall itself or record a small vid i had planned. Maybe next time. Anyway, I ended up buying a dress that's so adorable, two fans, some beads from daiso, a bow, and some skittles I ate along the way lol.

While I was shopping and such, I ended up getting street snapped 3 times! :0 Obviously, since this was my first time, I was very shy and tense (ᵕ—_—)

After a while, Ami showed up! It took a little longer for her to get there since she lives farther out. Our time together was pleasant ^^ She even gave me a gift. I was also going to give her a gift as well, but I didn't end up having the time. I have a gift bag that I know she'll love for the next time we meet! She wanted some puri of us and I wanted to walk in the underground mall too, but I couldn't stay for that long unfortunately...We met each other's parents briefly, walked for a bit and chatted before we took some cute pics, then parted ways.

Overall, I had an amazing time, even when I started off a little nervous at first! I will cherish the memory of this day, especially meeting Ami, forever ♥︎  I'm looking forward to making more memories like this, and I'm definitely going back in may XD

I was supposed to blog yesterday, but I was extremely tired after the outing I had. Once I got home, all I wanted to do was rest (ᵕ  ^ ∇ ^ ˶)

I first went to the aquarium, and it was nice! Would've been even better if it wasn't so overcrowded. All the fish were so funny looking, but still adorable. Didn't take pics since I've been to this same aquarium multiple times, but I do have some old ones.

After the aquarium, I went on a carousel and then on a swan-themed boat ride. The carousel was so fun!! I wanted to stay on it for longer. On the swan ride, I was relaxing in the back while my mom and brother paddled. It was really calming.

Then finally after the boat ride, I went to have dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, one of my fav restaurants ≋(￣﹃￣)≋ I had Hawaiian pizza with no ham (I don't care if its popular to hate it, I LOVE it), some lemonade, and a brownie for dessert. Really delicious meal.

Then, after all of that, I went home. As I mentioned earlier, I was super tired... I just watched a few videos then fell asleep lol

I've been feeling a bit drowsy and tired today :P I pushed through though since I needed to take care of chores and such. I finally cleaned my room today. Took a while but it was worth it. It feels much better and less stuffy. Less dusty too. 

Last week, when I went out, I went to the store and got some fast food (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑) I bought some headbands, some much needed batteries for my camcorder, candy ofc, and I brought a new member to my family! ^^

Now I have two pandas! I just need to get Merry so Ken (leopard panda) won't be so lonely.

After my outing last week, I've just been doing school per usual, and planning the next few outings I'm gonna have soon. Aside from school, I ended up making an oldschool windows movie maker slideshow video lol. I loved how it turned out and how it could pass for an actual vid made in 2008. 

This week, yesterday actually, I went to go have my graduation pictures taken. I had to wake up early and rush to get ready. I had to finish my makeup while on the way to the photoshoot xd. Everything was VERY nerve-wracking, but I made it through. I only have to deal with this graduation stuff one more time, and that'll be in may ^0^ I can relax a bit now... I encountered an old classmate of mine, so that was pretty cool. I hadn't seen her in a while. Also spent some time at the park that was nearby my photoshoot location.

I saw this week that early access tickets for the Michael biopic went on sale. I unfortunately can't go to see it during the week on the 22nd, but I will for sure be there on the 24th. I still have to prepare my outfit n stuff (｡w ｡") 

Next Saturday will be Harajuku day in Little Tokyo! I'm very excited to go and meet my friend ^^ I'm also excited to wear the outfit I have planned!

I just woke up from a much-needed nap. I survived yet another week luckily. I got dogpiled with school work... 

I finished one of the series I've been watching the most lately (On My Block on Netflix). I enjoyed that series a ton! Super entertaining, relatable/real, and engaging! I also re-watched a few movies and found some new ones too. I'll finally be out of the house again tomorrow ^^ can't wait to frolic and blast music in my ears while doing so. I was gonna decorate my laptop, mimi, today but I ended up cleaning and sleeping all day. I actually still have to make my bed.

Next week, I have to go and handle some important things, mainly my job application and my graduation pictures. I'm a bit nervous but I'll be fine. I'll finally have my own income coming in! I've been saving more lately actually.

I stayed outside for the longest time today. Just laying in the grass, listening to to some calming tunes, watching planes go by, scootering, chalking, and of course spending time with my dear cat ^^  I spent the day dressing up and being outside, 

Aside from that, I've been getting into my lost hobby of film and tv show consumption again. This lost hobby was triggered again when I ended up watching a movie called "Rim of the World" on Netflix. That movie was pretty cool and funny. After rotw, I watched Gippi and began watching The Babysitters Club and On My Block. I'm glad to be getting back into one of my old hobbies. I guess I stopped doing it because of my growing responsibilities and school.

Anyway, I don't have much to talk about in this entry, a little odd considering how much I ramble usually, but nothing much has been happening lately. I'll have more short entries like this often since most days, its the same routine.
