Rambling

I haven't updated this blog in over a month... So much for blogging once a week XD. I do want to actually start blogging at least once a week. That was my original goal but sometimes life just gets busy. I've been occupied with tons of school work and responsibilities, so I haven't been able to blog :[ I'm trying to stay consistent with my goals and blogging is one of them! so I'll be blogging more often. I don't know when I'll fully finish my blog though... or any of my websites... Speaking of my blog, I wanna change the font soon. Someone mentioned to me that it can be hard to read and I agree. I just love the cutesy look of it, but I can't barely read this font myself lol.

Anyways, I finally got my laptop mimi a few weeks ago! I love her sm. I dual booted linux and windows 10 ltsc with the classic7 mod (1:1 appearance of windows 7) on her. I'm so happy with my laptop and I've been using it nonstop. She's just a tiny bit slow and I just need to replace her battery and possibly update her ram, but otherwise, she works extremely well for a laptop made in 2008! I need to get desktop pets, a cute cursor, a lil more decoration and a few games but for now, I have essentials such as winamp, internet explorer, some of my social medias, etc. I put nyappy kun on my desktop along with some classic windows 7 widgets. I can't express how much I love my little laptop. I get so much joy from it >w<

Home screen and winamp ♥︎

I've mostly been trying to organize my music library and customizing ever since I got mimi. I have to actually decorate her soon too.

Apart from obsessing over my laptop, I got paid this week so that's cool. I'm struggling to decide what to spend the money on though...

I also recently finished one of my favorite series ever, De Volta Aos 15/Back to 15 on netflix. I shed some tears after the end of the final season lol. Words can't express how much I love the show. The characters, the plot, the writing, everything is just so amazing. Its also very relatable and hits close to home. Watching this series made me want to make more friends and live my life to the fullest. It's message is very important as well. Anita, the main character, played by Maisa Silva and Camila Queiroz, basically experienced what I try so hard to replicate, 2000s adolescence... The plot is that Anita time travels back to being 15- 18 years old, through her old fotolog/"floguinho."

Along with the characters and plot, the actors play the characters so well. I absolutely lovee Maisa now! I've been watching other media she's been in! She's such an amazing actress. Honestly wish this show had more seasons as well as a bigger fandom. I'm gonna buy the book the series was based on soon too.

Anyways, other than laptop and show watching stuff, life's been as stagnant as always. School, responsibilities, chores, some free time or hobbies, then sleep. I would love to go out and do more things man... even just roaming around the neighborhood or the park. I can't do any of that right now because I have a strict helicopter mom lol. A good quarter of my teen years have been spent in my room. One of the only reasons im happy about turning 18 is because by then, I can at least have full autonomy over myself and I can finally go out on my own. I'm already imagining all the adventures I'm gonna have, all the places I'm gonna go, and the people I'll potentially meet.

I've been especially tired and burnt out this week because of school and such... Even coffee didn't help me this week.

Some things I'm looking forward to in the next few months are going to Harajuku day in Little Tokyo in march, where I'll meet one of my coolest online friends, Ami, seeing the Michael biopic/movie in April (I'm super excited for that especially), and graduating in may!

I'll be in a better mood on Friday I hope.
